I don’t see a prosthesis as a replacement for something missing, but rather as an adaptive mechanism for the environment.
Let’s think in a parallel between the variables 1 and 0 as a binary system. The number 2 is then a variable to signify a sexual act between things encountering, whether organically (as anus, fist, mouth, tongue, finger, foot, arm, breast, vagina, penis, etc.) or cyber-organically (as cyber-anus, cyber-fist, cyber-mouth, cyber-tongue, cyber-finger, cyber-foot, cyber-arm, cyber-breast, cyber-vagina, cyber-penis, etc.).
In the binary system the variables 1 0 (one and zero) or 0 1 (zero and one) don’t signify a pair or duo. The operation of the whole system is not relevant if these two digits, which are seen as the primary units of this system, are correlated or have any sort of connection.

The balance of zeros and ones in a given sequence is unimportant; rather, it is the amount of zeros or ones and the sequence itself that has meaning. Information is then communicated through ones and zeros distributed irregularly and each sequence contains a specific message, thus becoming its own entity.
For example, a specific repetition could mean the color copper. If the sequence is changed by reconfiguring the order or amount of variables, the repetition might now mean a different color, word, number, or produce an error, a new connection or command. As the variables are rearranged, new correlations and content is transmitted to ultimately create an entirely new frame of reference. Potential for new heterogeneous combinations is so endless that its synapses of connections and transmission is disconnected from an idea of a genesis. I began to think about it as I read dildotronica in the contra-sexual manifesto from Paul Beatriz Preciado; specifically the theory about the decentralization of Penis and Vagina through Dildo and Anus and the questions around the meaning of a center. With this metaphor, I’m considering that even if two things are seen as primary elements of the system’s sexuality, they don’t necessarily need to be seen as a pair or even be related. It is possible that they come together but they are also individually whole.
