To love someone romantically is to experience the desire for union with someone that you deem entirely unique. But is this intense emotional experience universal, something quintessentially human, or is it an artificial emotion that belongs to a particular time and place? Is romantic love a surrogate new religion with the best marketing strategy in the world?
With LOVE OUT OF LOVE we will challenge the ideals of romantic love and explore the implications of it in feminism and queer culture. We will also invoke other affections, like self-esteem, idolatry and love for money.
This season we invite you to take a journey into the depths of your most secret passions and desires. Learn to love and love to learn, this issue is not for the faint of heart.
